We are giving you the opportunity to design a new logo and banner for the SYT group. The top 5 entries will then be chosen by staff members and these will then go on a live poll, for you the members to chose the winning design for the SYT group. The logo should have at least one image of a bus, tram, train and a plane to show that we cover all forms of public transport within South Yorkshire. The size of the logo can not exceed 100x100 pixels. The size of the banner can not exceed 500x150 pixels. When sent in these must be in either .IL, .PSD or .PNG format so they can be edited easily by ourselves for future reference. We are looking for a logo to replace the SYT name in the main banner and on the network maps and images on our website and a main banner for our forum. This must co-incide with our current forum colour scheme. This scheme uses the following HEX codes, #6E94B7 #004F70 #F8F8F8 #DEE7EF #E8EEF5 All entries should be sent to competition@sy-transport.co.uk by the 1st April 2009. One entry per member. We will then choose the best five entries which will be put out to poll for members to vote on the best design which will feature on the forum and all our websites. If entrants require any photos of buses, trams or trains within South Yorkshire then please visit my old website on If members wish for members of the forum to use their images, please email myself on sam@sy-transport.co.uk so that I can add the links to your photos or directly post them below for members to use. This would be a great help on the tram, train and plane front. Once you allow your image to be used this will become the property of SYT Group. Your images will only be used for the new logo and banners on our forum and website. If you wish, you can also send us in photos for the images on our website (to liven it up a little bit).
